Very well engineered and built. Strong and sturdy. I think that it will serve its purpose for many years to come. I found certain portions of the instructions a bit difficult to understand. Exactly what I was wanting
First I bought a Hitachi miter saw and then I bought the stand. They match-up perfectly. Just a few comments that I hope the manufacturer will improve on. Like most reviews I read prior to buying, I agree that the instructions are lacking and unless you are relatively mechanical in nature, you will have a difficult time putting it together. Simply identifying what bag of parts goes with what stand piece in the instructions would be a great help. The sales literature clearly states that you can leave the saw attached to the stand for storage when folded (a buying plus). But the instructions state you shouldn't leave the saw attached when folding the stand. Disappointing. I was really concerned when the stand arrived after about 2 weeks of shipping. The container box had miles of packing tape repairs and I was afraid that the contents may have been damaged or lost. Other than one bent pipe opening that was easily fixed, the contents were all there and functional. Lucky me. So far all is good. It is sturdy, rolls easily, and doesn't take up too much space. This is my third miter saw stand and probably my favorite. This stand is about 80 percent assembled out of the box. The cool thing about this is from dolly mode to set up, you do everything from the handle side. My other stands you had to pull the legs out first then lift it from the other side to setup.
