Lightweight easy to use
I put a flat piece of thin wood under the clamp and on the table to help with support, The clamp is ideal for holding small objects, I use it for holding wire to make coils, as well as many other products to help support while doing work on them. Cheap, Basic and Crudely made
The product was of poor design and crudely made. On the fasces of the jaws there were casting marks that would press into anything that was being held and the top edge of both jaws was machined giving a very sharp edge indeed ( this had to be filed off and a strip of lesther fitted to each side.) The bar of the desktop fixing clamp had a mis-shapen end, and the thread of the jaws was tight. At a pich it would be useable but, for the intricate work it was purchased for, I would certainly not recommend.
