Basic but OK
Don't use it for deep holes! But ideal for holes in plywood/plastic etc up to maybe 3/4". Materials seem quality, not rubbishy soft steel that blunts in no time. Case is tiddly, but that's no big deal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

FOR VERY VERY LIGHT DIY WORK ONLY
According to BOSCH, this is only for 'light DIY' work. You will need a low speed drill, so the bit doesn't overheat. You will need to keep stopping to allow the bit to cool down. BOSCH recommend 20 minutes to cool down. You will need to keep stopping to empty the sawdust out of the hole. Don't expect much from this product. If you only want to drill a few holes in softwood then fair enough, but anything involving lots of holes in harder materials then, in my opinion, forget it, as this will not do the job. If you want to drill holes in plasterboard then this will be fine. If you want to drill though thin plywood then this will be fine. I wanted to drill 10 x 68mm holes in 18mm ply. The bit started to struggle part way through the second hole - and this was with a slow speed drill, drilling from both sides of the hole, and allowing plenty of time to cool down. I have been in touch with BOSCH directly about this product. The box does not come with any instructions, so if you are in doubt about the job you want to do with this product then I would suggest you contact BOSCH first. They should be able to give advice as to the capabilities of the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very poor, don't recommend
The drill and blades are not sharp and had great difficulty cutting softwood. The housing container is solid but difficult to use. The blades and arbor do fit together well. This is not what I expect from a German product - outsourced production to another country, China in this instance.
