Bought these to use with a second iPod as I already own a pair which I love. Was very careful to only buy from authorised dealer. However, this pair are a fair bit quieter than my 3 year old pair at the same volume setting and don't have the same bass (noticed it right away so did a comparison to be sure). I've read that burning them in is a myth but will persist.

Great noise blocking ear phones. Only complaint is that I hear crackling sounds as well as my music (tested on laptop and phone- seems to be the earphones rather than the connection to the device). Was disappointed at that but happy to have something to block out office noise at work. Would prefer no rustling/ crackling though therefore gave 3/5

(((TL;DR Best headphones I've had. Superior quality sound, very comfortable, extremely durable, lasted me approx. 4 years and still going.))) Okay so I've gone through a lot of earbuds in the past, and I've usually stuck with SkullCandy or just the generic big brand names you buy from the highstreet, and always found that after several months I had always gotten problems with them; one side stopped working, or the connection became loose, or the wires had severed internally etc etc, but they were all "cheap" ones, no more than £10 each. So coming to these earbuds, I ordered a pair approximately 3-4 years ago, and still have the same pair today. Wow. As an apprentice in the engineering sector, there were many times I found myself twiddling my thumbs, waiting for jobs and sitting around were I would pass the time by listening to music, as many would, so I would class my use of them as heavy use to extreme frequent use. Hell I even used them whilst on the job at times. The sound cancellation is so superior, that I could use the loudest of tools and not feel any discomfort from using my earbuds alone, although that is ill-advised so take that as you will! They have a strong ability to deal with bass, even with double bass-boosted bass-heavy music, and whilst the bass isn't completely overwhelming, it's of really high quality. They can play complicated tunes with many sources playing at once, and don't crackle when there's 20+ instruments + vocals playing, which was a huge plus!!! The wiring is also super durable. I've dropped my phone many times, and the earbuds have prevented it from reaching the ground. Like I say, I've been using the same pair of these earbuds, at least 4 days a week with an average use being 5 hours, and both sides still work as if they were new. I'm literally over the moon with them. I was spending approx £10 on a pair of earbuds every over month before I came across these, and whilst I was really biting my thumbs with the price of these at first, the amount of money they've saved me on replacement earbuds has probably well reached the 3 digit mark (£100+) over the past 3-4 years. I rarely do in depth reviews unless I really really love the product, and this is the 2nd big review I've ever done, so if you've gotten this far, congrats! 100/10, would purchase again if my current pair brokeRead full review

I had the upgrade, which was an excellent product, but one of the speakers 'blew' so had to get a new earphone. I chose this one and do not regret it as it was cheaper with the same sound quality. What l prefer on these is the colour on the earphone to denote which side, which my old one didn't so caused 'problems' when the light wasn't great. I hope these last though.

Good sound for what they cost. Would recommend as a good allrounder.
