Excellent for a new shooter.
I am a very late rifle/shotgun/air rifle/air pistol devotee, and as I always wished to learn how to shoot properly (and safely) ever since I was a nipper in London. So, having moved to Norfolk some eleven years ago now, the plan was to join a good gun club. Talk about famous last words. It has taken me the best part of eleven years to actually get around to joining a good rifle club, and it has only been over the past year or so, my shooting skills have improved sufficiently to consider buying my own weapons now. One of the prerequisites to good shooting (especially hunting game and/or vermin) is to have the weapon take into account one's own flaws and quirks, and this MTM Predator manages the job very well. It also doubles up as a very competent rifle/pistol rest, but my use if primarily for sighting my newly acquired weapons. The predator arrived in pieces in a largish box, but has excellent instructions re assembly so it only took me some twenty minutes to have the item up and running. Rifle rest
If you are looking for a nice rest to either zero or shot from then you will not go wrong with this one. It is rather big in size but it is very light, but most importantly it is solid as a rock when you are doing either task. The only thing that could be a negative is that you do need a rather flat surface for the placement of the rest in the first place.
