Clear sounding set of vintage voiced Strat p/ups
Despite the low output of these p/ups, they have a clear bright sound that cuts through the mix. I like the bevelled pole pieces also - you don't catch your fingers on them like regular ones. They have a truly vintage look. I'd say Fender could up the output to 5.7 Kohms as that's about right for a vintage p/up. If you're looking for pickups with gain these aren't for you but if you like a chimey Strat sound these are great. These work quite well with fuzz or drive pedals and are great with chorus or delay.

This pickup is a not what i expecting, but it's a great pickup, The tone is vintage warm, I will go as far and say with the right setup this set of pickups will play almost any style of music.
