Excellent Oximeter
First class unit, this oximeter is excellent with one button operation. Currently using to monitor a patients blood saturation (how much oxygen is in the blood stream). Clear screen with easy to read/understand figures. Also gives pulse reading too. Very clear information/instruction booklet. Unit tested and compared to a medical issue oximeter... calibrated and an average reading taken.... 100% accurate and well worth the cost. I am also a scuba diver and do technical diving which involves saturation diving so I'm able to instantly check my own o2 sats. One observation for users... if using on someone who uses nail varnish, you will need to clean off the nail polish on the finger to be used for the reading. Saved any panic.
Bought this when diagnosed with DVT, having been warned it could be fatal if a clot travelled to the lungs (PE) and I should get immediate medical aid if I had the symptoms. I did have 4 PE-type episodes, but used this to monitor the SpO2 as it fell to 92% (not a good sign) but then it started to climb back to 98%. As I had no pain in breathing (another PE symptom) I waited for things to settle. Probably a tiny clot wriggling its way around. If I had not had this meter, I may have called the Ambulance. I'm not suggesting anyone else takes this approach, but it saved me panicking each time. That said, the GP did send me for a CT scan after the 4th 'episode'. A very useful device
For anyone with cardio-vascular disorders or breathing difficulties this is a first class instrument. Just clip it on a finger (no nail varnish) and in a few seconds you have percentage oxygen in blood and heart rate. Inaccurate product

Great device.
This device is great, its compact enough to carry around and gives an accurate reading. My only issue is that it's a little slow with the reading taking a good 30 seconds to pick up a pulse rate.
