Excellent model
Great looking model, of a great looking Bike. Really high quality moulding means the parts fit really well. Still not ideal for beginners as the level of detail means there are some really fiddly bits (rubberised brake hoses etc). Really good instructions for Build, although make sure you plan carefully before gluing as there was one bit that would be easier assembled out of the recommended order. An advanced Modeller will probably change some of the suggested paint colours to make it more realistic. Decals are great looking and well coloured for reality, but could be better. The clear edges will need trimming to ensure no raised edges. One of the best looking Tamiya 1:12 bike kits, looks fab on the shelf.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Must For Serious Modellers
Another superb item from the Tamiya Stable. Highly detailed including transfers. You must replace the front forks with the detail up kit as it includes some awesome items. This is for the serious modeller. Highly detailed and requires a good level of skill. I think a 'Display Case' is a must and a polished finish to Fairing, Tank & Seat if choice is 'Italian Red' Where possible Tamiya 'Ultra Thin' cement should be used as well as Tamiya Paints. Some of the TS can be substituted and I think Tamiya should start to consider producing little used colours as Glass Jar Products.
