Marlin 39A Scope Mount
I ordered a scope mount for my Marlin 39A, . . . expecting to get one like I bought some 40 years ago and no longer have. This one is different, . . . but I'm quite sure will be adequate for the job. My other one was the same dull dark grey as the receiver of the Marlin, . . . the only reason I did not give it 4 or 5 stars. Had it been the same finish, . . . I would have. Have a very nice vintage Marlin 39A Golden and a vintae Marlin Micro-vue 4x scope that I wanted to put together. Because these were both very nice vintage items, I was particular about which mount I used to join them. This mount fit perfectly and looked correct when installed.
