Good reliable sunrise lamp
I used to have an original Lumie bodyclock which finally gave up the ghost. I spent ages reviewing the different options and settled for the Philips light when it was on offer. As other reviewers have mentioned the one big negative is that you cannot see the buttons when the light is on. I’ve managed to get round this by remembering their positions and so can feel for them instead of looking. I opted for the Philips because it’s LED whereas the only Lumie ones with led are £150+ which seems extortionate for a wake up light. The sunrise simulation is pretty good, considering it’s led, it increments in brightness gradually- I’m very light sensitive and find I don’t need it on the highest setting to wake me up. The radio is pretty good but I use the sound for additional alarm back up which despite being on a loop doesn’t sound too repetitive. The alarm has a snooze but you have to turn it off and remember to turn on again each night for the next day. It’s a great reading light at night and you can adjust the brightness of the light and also the display. Generally I’m pleased with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works for me
Whilst the alarm sounds are nothing to get excited about - two types of bird song, and piano, the sunrise simulation is great. I've found myself often waking up around 10 minutes before the alarm is due to sound, and whilst I can't say I'm jumping out of bed with bags of energy, the actual process of waking up is much easier. The light at full is a good white colour (not too cold) and bright. At lower levels it's a pleasing orange which is great for winding down in the evening, which makes this a really flexible bedside light too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reliable, good quality and worth every penny
It looks good, it's easy to set up and I like how you can customize the light intensity and sound to find what works best for you. It's completely changed the way I wake up, making it more gradual and feel like I am just waking up naturally, which makes my whole day much better. It looks a bit chunky in the picture but in reality I've found it doesn't look obtrusive in any way, whether the light is on or off. Brilliant wake up light and beside table lamp
