Good for an authentic re-issue vintage build project
These did improve and brighten up the tone o'er stock import saddles. Super easy to install without removing the strings (Just loosen 'em enough to get the old saddle out and put the new one in -one at a time in the same position and intonation is very close).

'62 Tele threaded saddles
Had the brass barreled saddles on my '52 RI and it sounded a little dark. These saddles brightened the tone noticeably and brought that Tele twang out of my old guitar. Hated I didn't try these years ago. Also helps with string spacing as well. Worth a try...

Provides a different flavor of the classic twang.
These are the saddles to use if you have a top loader. They don't slip. Intonation might not get 100%, but you will get +95% of the way there and that is something I can live with. Still get the twang and snap that you get with brass, but not all the shimmer.
