Expensive, but quality costs
I've matched it with my Pentax 300mm DA* lens attached to a Pentax K-20D camera. Photo quality is excellent, only losing one stop but next to no image quality reduction compared to my older converter. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for - quality.

Pentax Rear Converter 1.4X AW
I bought this to enhance my 300mm tele-zoom lens, as going for a good quality lens upgrade would be a very expensive option and not easy to find. What I found using the Rear Converter was fantastic, in real terms I have now a 420 mm lens max! The quality of the pictures still remains. It's not intrusive and works fine with my Pentax K50. When using this in ornathology, the results were fantastic, the details now obtained are incredible!
