Blackstar HT-1R
It it very well made and feels ready for the roughest/ toughest use but looks and feels great to handle. It is very easy to use, the controls are very simple and easy to understand. The Clean sound is totally transparent but warm and there is more than enough dirt/ distortion overdriven sound at higher gain settings. The spring reverb works well but I prefer to use a reverb pedal because of the optional settings this gives me. There is no effects loop but it accepts pedals very well via the imput jack. This supposedly low output combo is loud enough to be heard several houses away in my street but at the lower volumes which I play it easily produces good classic guitar sound.

Excellent little valve amp
Really packs a punch for a rating of 1 watt, really loud for home practice, lovely warm tone and reverb is a bonus, have put this through a larger cabinet and really could be played in smaller venues or put it through PA Really portable and fantastic clean or over driven, well worth the money
