Poor design
The problem that i found with this item is that it is basically a slightly modified soldering iron and because the grip is so far from the tip I found it impossible to cut accurately. I also found that the grip got very hot in places after about 10 minutes and the unnecessarily thick mains cable made it even more difficult to use accurately and pulled the flimsy stand, provided, off the table. It's cheap enough and the build quality is OK, so I have already tinned the tip for use as a PCB soldering iron.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I am delighted Wwith the Cut Master. This tool exceeded my expectations. I have never used one before, and wanted to cut some stencils for my own use, but found working with a knife difficult as I have arthritis in my hands. I saw a You Tube video and decided to give it a try and found it very easy to use and operate, as I don't have to apply any pressure or grip the handle too hard. Does the job admirably
I actually bought this product for cutting fine, synthetic fabric on a glass mat - a tip a learned from a top couturier - rather than to cut stencils.
