DPMS Front Iron Sight. Picatinny Weaver Rail
This M16 type post was designed for usage with the lower front of the the DPMS AR rifle. It fit right on the Picatinny Weaver Rail at the front of the rifle without needing a special block as required to bridge the half. The rear sight will have to be 1 and 1/2 inch tall as this sight is 2 inches tall, but those are easier to find and are a standard. I had an old $15 UTG low profile rear sight in my box which matched well. It's an easy on-easy off solution if you want to use a low-profile red dot scope (batteries fail) then switch back to iron sights as I do. Awesome for DPMS AR15
I purchased the UTG front sight MNT-750 along with the UTG rear sight MNT-955 and they workrd great together, they aligned perfect. If you have a DPMS with the lowered rail gas block these two items are a must. Oh and you cant beat the price. I hope this helps.
