Good, solid grubbing mattock
Generally good quality, grubbing head is a good tight fit on the fiberglass shaft with a gripping rubber type end on the handle. Only criticism is the less than perfect moulding process left flash on the fiberglass and rubber, to be fair 15 min with a strong sharp blade and a little fine rubbing down has left a tool which should give years of service. Overall good tool for the price that has helped dig up ground which has been compacted & uncultivated for over 25 years. Title should make it clear - Head only.
IT is being used to break up compacted earth which was under a gravel garden. It does the job well. The only negative is that he advert title didn't specify that it was just the head.This only became apparent when ordering, by which time it was too late to cancel. Should last a good long time

Solid well made garden tool
Very robust and useful bit of kit. Great for grubbing out ( leylandii ) roots, just eats through them. Need to be careful, both blades very sharp on arrival. Easy to use with good features
An excellent tool for 'grubbing' out roots and breaking up the ground in preparation of rough ground for cultivation. The tool is not too heavy and comfortable to use.
