SCHWALBE Marathon MTB
These tyres continue the theme like the original marathons , technology built in to the tyre preventing the likelihood of getting a puncture. Marathon MTB is perfect for anyone who want a strong constructed wide MTB treaded style tyre. Yes they are heavy, but if mated to a bike like me that is electric you really notice the additional weight.( you already have a bike) the tyres are easy to fit. Previously I ran Schwalbe Big Ben. Great on tarmac and loose gravel to a point but wanting more grip for the odd occasion to off on to the grass or muddy rocky tracks , this new addition to the marathon range , completes I think all types of cycling.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB
Didn't know you could get the Marathon Plus for MTBs. Easy to fit compared with the road bike versions I have done before. Rolling resistance seems lower than I thought it would be. The harder compound makes it twitch a bit at the back in wet conditions. Otherwise a tough tyre for those thorn laden tracks and no punctures.
