  • How Did I Not Know About Brian Bilston?

If I didn't adore Richard Osman for any other reason (which I do), he will forever be in my heart for introducing me, via his tweets, to Brian Bilston. Three of the sweetest things that light our days are laughter, play with language, and kindness to others. If you enjoy chortling like a drain, are staggered by brilliant wordsmithery, and have a compassionate heart, this is a book for you. However, be warned: if you are a fan of Jeremy Clarkson or Piers Morgan, or if you enjoy The Daily Mail, steer well away. (And, while you're at it, have a general re-think about what it is to be a happy, gentle human being.)
