Rubber is very soft
The spare rubber that I ordered is either very soft or very hard. The water we have in Edinburgh is one of the softest and clear on the U.K. Yet under the mains pressure in my home the rubber gets pitted very quickly and passes. Excellent does the job! My old washer had typical bubbles on the rubber diaphragm causing water to overrun when cistern was full - wasting metered water ! The replacement has made pulling the flush a breeze & water fill stops when cistern full. Good as news!
