Well, I realise that the old airfix moulds have obviously been bought up by Dapol but the kit I've recently had delivered looks to be as crisp and even better detailed than I remember the old bright yellow plastic airfix moulded model being of 50 years ago! I haven't assembled the kit yet but everything looks good. The only downside seems to be the lack of detailed painting instructions, which are sadly absent. Then again, where are you ever going to get the original kit from nowadays?!

Great little model of an old Airfix kit. Exactly as I remember it from all those years ago - although it is now moulded in grey plastic but was originally yellow. Few bits of flash on some parts but this is to be expected on an old kit - not a problem

As it is an old Kitmaster kit it has survived well. Lots of prep work needed on parts but with care a good result can be achieved.

Looks good quality model kit, haven't yet started to build it. There is nice detail on the figures and pieces of the rocket.
