Works perfectly
Was slightly sceptical picking one of these up for only £18 given rrp was well over £100 but it works perfectly. I use it to connect two external HD (but not 4K) monitors to my laptop for work and it also has a large number of usb slots to plug in a mouse, keyboards and charge a phone etc. The only negative is the size, it’s pretty huge and houses a set of laptop charging tips (you are supposed to be able to charge a laptop from the hub) but due to the age of the hub these are all now completely redundant unless you have an old laptop. It isn’t at all portable. Also it comes with its own power source and the power brick is very large. However it works perfectly for enabling a good wfh setup and the size issues don’t bother me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

My first computer with usb 3 but yet another HP laptop, Have been using the old one with a docking station to work from home on several remote computers and was worried that i couldn't use this or any other docking station after i bought the new computer. I eventually read and understood that the modern way was with a port replicator so the hunt was on, i tripped over the Targus and it seemed to have plenty of ports and be able to connect to both my external monitors. I arrived, i rearranged my desk plugged everything in switched everything on - panic - nothing! found the switch on the Targus, switched that on -And there was light! it has worked perfectly for the last couple of months. It even charges thing when the computer is switched off. the only thing that would improve it would be to have a fan to assist in cooling my computer, although admittedly the new one does not get very hotVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Fantastic!
Took it outta wrapping, connected the power, laptop usb 3 cable and my two monitors and inside 30 mins after W10 auto installed the driver I had three displays extended! I then unplugged my keyboard and mouse dongles and re plugged into the Targus, immediate functionality and finally found the appropriate tip from the neat lift up storage chamber for my Dell and bang I don't need my power brick ! The Targus does it all! And if I want to connect my other laptop to all this all I gotta do is pull out one USB 3! This is brill - get one!

Dock makes my laptop portable
Having just replaced my old desktop PC with a Laptop, I wanted a good dock to connect all the peripherals to, so keeping the laptop portable. When it came it connected straight away. The only problem was that the monitor would not wake up. Eventually found it was a cable failure. Replaced the cable and everything works like a dream.
