Does the job perfectly.
The feeder was bought for our cat as we had to go away for two days and one night. No doubt it will be used again. It was easy to set up and it worked perfectly well. The feeder itself is a bit bigger than I thought - roughly the size of a robotic vacuum cleaner, but the food compartments are very good size (and there are 6 of them!), so it's very functional... And the cat found it comfortable to eat from - which is the main thing! :-) I expected to pack it away until the next time, but I've got so fed up with flies getting into our cat's old bowls, so I started using this feeder instead as it's got a tight lid. I just switched the feeder off to save the batteries (but apparently, the batteries should last for a year even when the feeder is ON all the time). The voice recording feature is nice - I wouldn't say it's important but the kids loved recording a quick message for the cat! :-) Overall, it seems like a good, well made product. While the Cat's Away!
A good quality product which we have only used once. It was reasonably easy to set up the feeding times and record the voice message. It comes apart easily for cleaning and is quite sturdy. While we were away, it was very warm and as our cat hadn't eaten all of the food, some of it had started to go mouldy (wet food). A bit complicated at first but an amazing product
There is a video on youtube which demonstrates how to set this up as the manual was difficult to follow. Once I got the hang of the product, it is easy to set up. It takes 4 size C batteries which last over a year. This item allows you to set 6 feed times, I chose to do 2 feeds a day. It allowed me to record a message which goes off at the set times. Now I don't have to rush home or worry about my cat being noisy at feed times, particularly in the morning! Each compartment has a number in so you know it needs more food at '6'! Brains required
This looks like a lovely brilliant thing but much too complicated for me to fathom the operating instructions. I have four times attempted to study the instruction book but have each time given up. Dry food only
Went hunting for quite a while to find a feeder that would allow me to have a weekend away and not just 2 days maximum. This works like a wonderfully. Recording the voice was a bonus, but my cat has paid no attention to that what so ever. Took me a couple of tries, despite the instructions, to get the feeder programmed, but once I did, perfect. It's a quieter mechanically than I expected, so big thumbs up there. Lovely sized feeding spaces for my cat too. No head squeezing or paw reaching to grab at her biscuits. Does what it says on the Box!
The feeder works exactly as it's supposed to for 6 feeds programmed in advance over 6 days. Setting it up is a bit tricky, but easy once you have got the hang of it. I have not used the recorded message facility, because I don't think hedgehogs would appreciate it! The feeder is well made and robust enough to be clambered over by hedgehogs. This auto-feeder is not just for weekends away, but good for cat's health.
We got this feeder for two reasons, one being our weekends away means we don't need to worry too much about neighbours forgetting to feed our cat on time. The other reason being is that the vets advised us, because of our cat's breed, the increase in cats having urinary tract blockage, to supply 4 or 5 small meals and plenty of water in the wet food, also at a few locations. This feeder means I can have our cat feed in 4 or 5 meals during the day, or 3 meals per day over a weekend. Its easy to set up and its works. Our cat is a bengal/tabby mix, he is super inquisitive but he has given up trying to break into the feeder after 5 days, thanks to its design of being 'cat proof'. The recorded message is useful and he reacts to it even if we can't hear it. I use it everyday, and no longer get woken up at 5am for feeding. I wanted to give it 4.5 star, my only issue it its size considering its feeding a cat, the compartments don't need to be that large, but maybe its a pet feeder and not just a cat feeder.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job
We have found that this works well, only problem cat managed to break into tray 6 because that part of the lid was easily detached. If there were 7 sections with number 7 empty then the problem would be resolved. Otherwise, once she got used to the noise she was sitting waiting for it to open.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Automatic pet feeder.
It took some time to fully understand the functions and instructions of how to assemble, resemble and set the clock and feeding times for this feeder, but eventually got there.
