NOT REFURBISHED !!
Not acting REFURBISHED! At setting 2(out of 7) the bottom half of bagel is too brown and top half is warm but only very lightly toasted. I see no Reasonable Solution to this problem as I am too old to pop it up at midway and turn it upside down. My old Cuisinart long-slot toaster heated evenly, but alas, it was burned up in last year's 2021 Fawn Fire along with my home and all possessions. Fits a half bagel and a fat slice of center cut from a round loaf
My use is somewhat limited at the moment, but first impression is it's a very good unit. Looks very nice and one should never have to worry about a slice of something not fitting. Only word of advice would be to start at 1 or 2 for the first time you use bagel mode or something very fat, as it gets the breads surface closer to the heat.
