Works excellent
I seldom write reviews, but I wanted comment on this product. I'm amazed at how well it works at keeping my receiver cool. My Denon receiver got hot quick and would shut down within minutes of playing music at a very high volume. I didn't have much hope because I had tried a dual fan system that made no difference whatsoever. I believe this system works so well because it covers the whole top of the receiver and forces the air to be drawn in from the sides where it flows over the internal components and then out the top. The dual fan system likely got most of its air from the areas around it on the top where it never flowed over anything that was getting hot. I haven't looked at the instructions yet, I just plugged it in and set the temp that I wanted the fans to kick on. They kicked on when the temperature got to that point, then back off once cooled down. I can finally enjoy my loud music without the whole system shutting down in the middle of a song. -DerekVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product for a big need
I stumbled across this product on AVS Forum and it changed options for equipment mounting/distribution given I've always tried to keep things off the receiver so it could vent. With the T8 I can now place whatever I like (less than 30 lbs anyway which includes pretty much anything normally considered for placement on top of a receiver) on top of the receiver as the T8 vents the receiver out of the back of the T8. Great product, great price, super easy to use. Once we replace our current entertainment center it is nice to know that with a few more fans enclosed entertainment centers become an option whereas I'd never consider them without ventilation options like this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

After investing several thousand dollars in an AVR it just made sense to spend a little bit to protect it and extend it’s life expectancy. It was a breeze!
Reading the little manuel is a must do, otherwise good luck. I don't know , that's the way it was for me anyway. I'm kinda computer illiterate i guess. But i got it down pat now. It sits atop my Denon avrx7200wa. It is pretty quite. The fan in my Hafler pro5000 makes more noise. I adjusted it for the fan to come on at 90 degrees and the alarm at 100. I keep it on auto. I gave it a 4 star rating because I dislike the idea of the LCD panel stays on constantly . Does the trick
My Denon Avr x2100w would overheat and shut off at high volume levels halfway through the first song in a well ventilated area. The aircom T9 does well keeping my receiver cool in a 2 to 3 degree range without over heating in the auto setting. Highly recommended!
