Great horn (in a great bag) for a great deal.
I've been looking for a shiny new horn to play on stage. I've been playing the same Bach TR200 for almost 25 years, with no complaint, but it's beat up and ugly now. This horn is a similar, but better, horn. The valve action is phenominal and the sound is great. I'll have it for years. Great sound for jazz and Dixieland venues
I bought the CONN 52BSP as a backup trumpet to my No.1. I plan to use the 52BSP primarily in our Dixieland Band. I like the larger bore (0.462") and the reverse leadpipe and the round tuning slide. I have pretty good embouchure so I use a mouthpiece with a deeper cup, Bach 1D, and the sound I get is just what I want for Dixieland music. I've been playing trumpet since 1952, and this trumpet is great for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
