A Good Performer
Living in an older house with thicker walls, it's hard to find a wireless doorbell that works effectively more than a few feet from the door. Having tried a cheaper Siemens unit that plugs into the mains, it was prone to losing its pairing with the bell push - almost every day in fact. It needed frequent rebooting (switching on and off) to keep it working. It also failed miserably to work more than one room away from the front door. And the only thing worse than having no doorbell at all is a doorbell that doesn't work. Callers think you're out when you're actually at home. Upgrading to this Friedland unit (and the separate, matching bell push) cured both problems at a stroke. It works all over the house and it never loses its pairing.
