Why platinum?
As a disabled person who has difficulty walking, I get a lot of problems with my feet. I can go for weeks, or months, where I cannot wear shoes and have to wear sandals or even flip-flops. As the seasons change, this results in different problems at different times. On occasion, my heels can get severe, deep cracks that get worse and worse and often result in my feet bleeding as I walk. Basic Flexitol is great for ordinary maintenance on my feet, but once they've really deteriorated, I can end up in hospital for prolonged treatment. A podiatrist recommended that I use Flexitol Platinum rather than the standard product and, in the last two years that I have been using it, I have not needed to visit the hospital. I am able to keep cracking to a minimum myself and just require a visit to the podiatrist every 8 - 10 weeks for a check-up. There is no other product that is able to stop and repair my heels that I am aware of, and believe me, I've tried a lot!!! So, if you have severe cracking or extensive hard skin problems on your feet, there is no better product that I have been able to find.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good cream, but not life changing!
This cream is very good, but I wouldn't expect it to perform a miracle. Personally, I think if you use it every night for about 10 days with cotton foot socks or those weird silicone heel things then it works much better & you should see a very big improvement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cracked no more

Terrible cracked heal
