Compact size, good sound quality
Bought the Panasonic Soundstage to improve the sound quality of new LED flat panel TV (which has minimal room for decent built-in speakers and therefore a thin, tinny sound). This product works well and produces much richer sounds, much more volume if needed and easily adjustable settings for different types of sound - eg music, stadium, dialogue and several more. The shallow box shape is perfect for positioning under the TV stand base, and takes up minimal space. The remote control is easy to use - my only criticism is the remote is small (credit card sized) and therefore easy to misplace. I had also thought the remote might synchronise with my Panasonic TV remote, but it does not. Overall a great product and highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Better than TV audio
Its not WOW, that's good !!. but its a major improvement over the standard TV audio, Its neat and smart to look at, seems pretty well built, syncs with my Panasonic TV, and when its not on i really notice how bad the tv is without it. Its no substitute for a proper home cinema but its a good upgrade over standard , My only gripe it the sound sometimes lags behind the picture but that could be the cheap leads im using . So to sum it up, if you want a all singing all dancing home theater system then its not for you but if you want half decent sound from your TV or PS4 etc then it does the job just fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good price, nice sound, well made
I feel this is a good compromise between everyday sound and that boomy bass you want for a film. And from the Panasonic out let the price was excellent. If i wanted to play my mp3 or flac then i would use my hi-fi. And it won't shake my walls down on a film. However... It sits perfectly under my telly. With ARC it turns on and off without problem and works from my telly remote. The sound that comes out is really good for normal telly. When i play a film it as decent surround/spatial detail and the bass is good. I have no clutter of loads of speakers but good sound. It is well made. To set it up you really need to do, well, erm, nothing. I would say though that Dolby 5.1 setting on a sansung tv works far cleaner and with less harsh treble than the standard offering of neo 5:2 the telly provided. And when i made that change on the telly then the sound base worked well. It is not a hi-fi, it is not cinema sound. Great deal refurbed from Panasonic outlet
Really pleased with this. Very neat, very powerful, plenty good enough sound and integrates beautifully with my Panasonic TV using an hdmi cable. Many techy websites say sound on these lower end units can be poorer than they like but look at the cost of the things they like! For the money this is an excellent deal. Not a soundbar its a Sound Arena (The O2s got nothing on this!)
Best piece of sound kit we've bought in yrs, we had a 5 speaker surround sound stereo that was fantastic when it came out. now this arena box don't need one of those extra ugly subwoofer boxes standing to one side, its got it all built in with all the sound you could want. we've just seen ELO at the O2 & we just happen to have ELO live at Wembley on our Panasonic HDD home theatre & listening to it, it was as if we were there without having to buy the hat! Hows that for a quality write up. several settings plus extra bass (you probably wont need it) cinema quality as well, it really is, & if you've a hearing problem like our daughter theres even a dialogue setting. Much improved sound over that of the TV
