I required a bike rack that would fir a Skoda Citigo (same car as VW Up! and Seat Mii), so I could get the kids out and about. My car does have roof gutters nor provision for a tow bar mounted rack so those were out of the running straight away, and the cheap looking tubed aluminium offerings on a certain "jungle" website didn't look up to the job. After some searching I found that the Saris Bones 3 would fit a Seat Mii, so I took a punt and bought it for my Citigo and I'm sure glad I did. It can be a little bit of a faff to attach and detach as it is held on via straps, but it's worth putting up with and will easily hold an adults mountain bike as well as two kids bikes. Seeing that lot hanging off the rear of a tiny car like mine is quite amusing! Only really niggle is that the hooks that hook onto your boot are steel but vinyl covered, and they could well scratch your paintwork. However this can be remedied by buying some sticky back neoprene for the sides of the hooks that attach to the car boot and the problem is solved, and for little money. The rack can't be secured to the car so you will have to remove it once parked to avoid theft, however it folds up into a remarkably compact package which will easily fit in the boot of an Up!, Mii, or Citigo. For compact cars, you can't find a better bike rack. Buy nice or cry twice! Read full review

The product is excellent - probably the best rear mounting bike rack you can get. Strong and easy to use. But the score of 2 stars is because unfortunately the item I was sent has a fault with it that was not mentioned before I bought it. One of the knobs you turn to secure the arms that hold the bike does not work. It just turns but never gets tighter as the plastic disc has been bent. So far this has thankfully not made the rack unusable - the arm stays in place anyway because of the grooves on the main tube that also hold it in place - but it is not entirely secure and so this should have been mentioned, especially before I paid full market value for this item.

I had a old tubular frame type that you buy from a well known shop beginning with H. The thought of mounting it put me off straight away. This little beauty takes 10 mins, can be put in your boot whilst your on your bike so it does not get nicked. Great design and light makes for an excellent product

Great bicycle rack, easy to use and set up. Carries 3 bikes with ease. Takes about 15 minutes to set up for the first time.

Really well designed and solid construction. Easy to attach to the car. Slight struggle to get three bikes on but that is more due to the fact that one of the bikes has a basket on the back. Will need to get a lighting board as bikes partially cover lights and number plate.
