An excellent product.
I was doubtful that this product could beat our very clever squirrel, he was unable to get his head in to feed but the resourceful little chap now hangs on to one side tipping the feeder slightly then somehow shakes it to tip a small amount of seed out, he then climbs down the pole and eats from the ground. Good value bird feeder
The product is very good, a good size and plenty of feeding ports for the birds, It’s hard to be negative as it’s very keen price, My only gripe is unlike some other bird feeders I have bought, this product is difficult to clean, In other words products I have purchased have had a couple of screws at the bottom which means you can then get to the plastic tube and clean the product, but as I say at this price it’s not going to have this featureVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good against squirrels, useless against starlings
Squirrels are not my problem but starlings definitely are. So this product will probably be OK against squirrels but didn't work to keep the starlings away from the fat balls put our for the little birds in our garden. The price was the best I found and the product is well made so if squirrels are your problem this will probably serve you well. Unfortunately starlings are my problem and can get inside the feeder and demolish the fat balls really fast leaving nothing for the other birds.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Matching Bird Feeders, very posh!
love the yellow but by coincidence, the majority of my birds and wildlife have disappeared, might be a late moult though. They are easy to fill and keep clean, bigger seeds and pellets don't run through as easily as sunflower hearts, but the song birds are getting through them, just taking a bit longer. Birds love one of them!
The blue fat cage is great ... it is popular with small birds and frustrating for corridas and squirrels. The yellow seed feeder is noticeably less popular than an adjacent “standard” seed feeder containing identical feed. Could it be that bright yellow puts them off? OK if Squirrels have short arms
Feeder is too slim! Squirrels have long arms! This feeder with the mesh inner is OK (though that doesn't stop them trying). Photo 1. You need to wire the top in place as they learn to open it. The feeders with the clear plastic inner and the feed holes are preferred by the birds AND THE SQUIRRELS! The little b****** just lean in and scratch away until the plastic is destroyed and it's party time! I'm afraid it needs a redesign. Photo 2 (Purchased previously. Lasted a week) A previous feeder was 21 cm diameter, Photo 3. This one is 15 cm.

A good caged feeder.
This is the second one of these I’ve bought and the other, which is several years old, is still doing its job and feeding the birds. It’s an inexpensive, simple item and quite lightweight but well designed and, being metal, is strong and capable of resisting the chewing of squirrels and pecking of large birds trying to get past the outer cage.. the yellow coating of paint on my old one is now looking a little bit battered but there’s no sign of rust on it yet. Parakeet and Squirrel proof
The nut dispenser works really well and small birds can use it. It is proof against parakeets as well as keeping squirrels out. The seed dispeser hjowever is not used by small birds except the robin. It maybe they don't like the seed mix I use, I'm not sure.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doesn't stop Starlings!
I bought this hoping it would stop Starlings gobbling all the meal worms but although it made it slightly more difficult, it barely slowed them down. As for stopping squirrels I couldn't say, local squirrels ouldn't get a look in because of the mob of Starlings!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
