Really glad of this product. I’ve been having problems establishing a new tank and ordered king British brand test strips. I thought the test strips would be easier to use but I was wrong. The ammonia strips always gave a confusing reading that was different every time i tested. I didn’t realise this was the case and bought a lot of products to fix what I thought was a problem. Finally, after a dangerously high reading, in desperation I concluded it must be that my tap water was the problem. I tested my tap water and it was ‘high in ammonia’ too. I thought all my water changes were just replacing with more ammonia. Of course I panicked and retested and got a different read again and so I bought this liquid test kit. IM SO GLAD I DID. It’s consistent, easy to read, and what do you know- MY WATER WAS PERFECTLY FINE ALL ALONG! So is my tap water, phew. I’ve wasted so much time, effort and money on this. I have used a few Ammonia test kits and this is the one I prefer by far. This is easy to use. Just put 5ml of aquarium water into the little test tube then add 8 drops of the testing solution from bottle one then 8 drops from the second bottle, cap it and give it a shake. After 5 minutes you have your results. I would recommend this brand over any other for testing your aquarium water.

Great test kit & very essential for fish keeping. I test most weeks before a water change. It's very easy to use, just a few drops of two different solutions mixed with a sample of aquarium water & I find the colour chart easy to read (make sure to read it in daylight). If your cycling a new tank this kit is extremely essential & best to test more often.
