Some similar Roasters are just too large and hard to handle - especially for the elderly - this one still accommodates a good sized roast without making getting it in and out of the oven dangerous. Its' construction is sound and it is made of good quality stainless steel - easy to clean. It also saves a lot on oven cleaning - which can also be an issue for the elderly. Very happy with this product.
