Effective and a bargain
We have just moved house and I was finding myself waking up with a stuffy nose and when I had the window slightly open at night it would give me a sore throat, so I thought about getting an air purifier...not wanting to spend the earth as I didn't know if one would be effective or not I bought the HEPA Air purifier can honestly say it was totally worth it. For such a small item it really is effective, I have only had it a week and have noticed an immense difference I no longer wake up with a stuffy nose or a sore throat. I have found it also has helped my hay fever. Its a great size and has been well designed to almost look discreet with touch sensitive buttons you can have it on two fan speeds, the room temperature is clearly displayed as is the humidity. There is a sleep setting which whilst turned on the fan is barely audible and it also turns off the temperature and the humidity lights. The on/off button does stay on which can be quite bright and illuminate the room somewhat this does not bother me as its not very bright although if you need complete darkness could be an issue. The filter is easily removable which a quick turn from the bottom and after doing a bit of research it appears that it needs to be changed every 12-18 months with the filters themselves being very cheap I have seen them for under £20. I have also found it eliminates odours and keeps the room smelling nice and fresh - there is a plastic smell for the first 24hours but that soon disappears. So to sum it up if you are looking for an cost effective air purifier for your bedroom or small office space I would certainly recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very useful .
I love this ioniser, it's far better than I expected. It runs efficiently & quietly. The night time setting is ideal so that it can be kept running at low power all night. As someone with a lot of allergies, this has been a godsend. My only disappointment is that it isn't possible to turn it's power light off at night. I find the light hinders my getting to sleep, however this is a small price to pay and for me the positives far outweigh the negative. Brilliant little machine
This is so quiet now. Does take a while to to adjust. Don't even notice now. The air in my bedroom is cleaner and there is no smell. Me or my bf haven't woken up with stuffy noses since I purchased this machine. Only down side is the power light. It is rather bright. So have turned it round to face the wall and it now become a night light in an otherwise pitch black bedroom. Not as good as I expected
