I got my old Antex C15 back in 1988. It gave up the ghost last week and I was very pleased to find a replacement on E Bay. The C15 seems to be "going out of fashion" now, so get one whilst you can. a nice thin profile makes it easy to hold. a lack of those horrible "bit holding in screws" that many budget priced irons have means that it fits into the stand easily. And a nice low wattage means that you can use if for soldering and desoldering delicate parts without overheating them and without the need for temperature control. You have to wait a little bit for them to come up to temperature but the waiting time is not long at all.

An excellent soldering iron. Have been using Antex low wattage irons for over 40 years and like them. Nice light weight and reliable. Tips and elements easily replaced. Would suggest you buy the version with the more flexible silicone lead as this one was a bit firm. I still rate it at 5 star.
