The Darlac Swop Top range allows you to simply click into place your chosen tool onto a telescopic pole handle. Heads can be exchanged instantly with very little effort and will assist with anything from simple window cleaning to gutters, facias conservatory roofs, watering plants, cutting branches and a host of other tasks. A handle is the starting point for any mix and match, whether it's for general use or a more specific application. The DP570 is a three section lightweight aluminium construction designed for use with Swop Top accessories. Extends from 1.87m to 5m. With the user's height and reach added, this means it's possible to prune branches up to 8 meters (26 ft) without leaving the ground. The quick-connect socket at the top of the pole allows accessories to.

An excellent buy.
Used the Darlac swop top pole pruner today, taking the top out of a sycamore tree . The saw heads were easy to put on, the pole extended long enough not to need a ladder, cut thick branches with ease from the ground. The saw heads I used went through the wood very easily, a little wobbling when sawing but nothing you can't get used to. All in all very pleased with this equipment.

Lightweight and good reach
Really useful for the higher branches, didn't have to stand on anything but the garden. However, end cap came off straight away and was thin plastic and wouldn't go back on again. Also, after first use, I can't get the pole to lock properly making it pretty useless as the head on it just spins round and round and won't lock into place. it's been a one time only use product. Good price for the reach it has and recommend it for the reach only.

Decent Tool
I already have a Darlac Expert pole. Unfortunately these Swop Top heads do not fit the Expert poles which means you have to buy two poles which is ridiculous. The Swop Top is reasonable but not as sturdy as the Expert range, but is still expensive.

Well made pole
Well made and quite light for large pole, used for 1/2 day, no aches next day, was thinking about smaller pole first for my trees, but opted for this size. Would recommend as all work on large trees was done from the ground, shop around as price varies.
