This item sits on my bedroom floor and is used every morning, to put my socks on. its suitable for all kinds of socks. it had a rubberised base so will sit on a hard floor as well. Great for big feet, not for ladies average to smaller socks.
Great product, but I wished they made it in a smaller size. I purchased this for my mum, who has a small foot, hence her socks are small. They barely fit over the sock guide, and the ones that do are so stretched afterwards that they won't stay up. It is a great product i use it for getting my socks on although at times i suffer with sciatica so reaching down to pull them up can be a challenge and very painful. Good but not for me.
The product is well built it is also value for money ie well made, but it take a lot of practice too use properly, it is not for everyone ,we found it very hard even after many attempts to pull my socks on, I'm afraid we gave up and went back to the old way of putting socks on it was easier. Handy sock aid but not for me
I thought this would be ideal for me, but unfortunately I didn't think it through. Due to my hip problem I am unable to bend to try to pull them up my legs. The sides are not long enough, and it is also too small for my calf so I have to be careful if I use it. I also have to extend sides with something to extend the sides. I have two Arthritic knee's and found it time consuming in the Mornings so I bought another one, hence it's not good value for me. The product is well made, but the design is not any good the help someone having difficulty in reaching dow to put socks on because it is too high from the floor.
