Easy Fitting, Easy Maintenance and Economy all rolled into one
Great piece of kit that's improved my cistern no end and brought it up to date. Just follow the instructions, clean your job thoroughly beforehand and stay off the sealant. It also saves you having to have an overflow fitted, as it has it's own internal overflow that just overflows down into the soil-pipe. You've then got the double-flush mechanism that saves you water if you're on a meter or makes you feel 'all green and saving the planet' if you're not.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Adjustable Height Toilet Cistern
Cistern is OK bought to replace a similar unit worked OK initially (first couple of days) then seems to be problem with the diaphragm as makes terrible noise when flushing as though drawing air. This was the same problem with the similar unit which this one was bought to replace. Perhaps it is because of adjustable feature but I can't get it to operate silently. Tried adjusting the height and the pull mechanism, replaced the toilet handle but no joy. on the original unit I also tried replacing the diaphragm with different material but to no avail so as the cost of a new unit was reasonable I purchased another as a direct replacement. Sending back to supplier was considered but price is such that purchasing a new unit seemed an option but I won't make the same mistake again. So although the unit seems to be manufactured well enough I would not be too keen on buying another with this flexible height option. Only problem is with a close coupled system this would be the best option of it worked properly but to change back is a bigger job than I wish to tackle - might have to call in the professionals !!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

D I Y Man can fit
I am not a plummer, fitting this great Cistern Syphon would be a big job fir me to fit, "NO" it was not after tying up the ball valve, flushing all of the remaining water, and drying the last bit of water with a towel.
