What a Brilliant product, how many times have you got home from work, gone to cook meals for your children, only to find you forgot to get it out your Freezer....well no more, this is the answer to your problems.This simple looking board will Defrost your Frozen food ready for cooking, depending on the size, will effect how long. Time saving
This great little tray does exactly what I wanted. I am sometimes unsure what to have for supper until it's time to eat. With this tray most meats/fish defrost in around 35/60 minutes ready to cook. No more having to decide hours and hours in advance of what to defrost. There is nothing to plug in or Batteries, it looks and feels like a slate, how it actually works is a mystery to me. Thin/lightweight sort of works.
Tried it out with a frozen block of minced beef. It sort of works in that the tray gets very cold and so spreads out the cold area. Sadly if you are looking for a method of rapid defrosting this is not it. The mince was still best part a solid frozen mass after being on the tray for 4 hours. Waste of money one thinks! If it was thicker and larger it may work better as the surface area would be larger so would further spread the cold.
