    Solid and hardwearing.

Good value for money although the smaller pans are a bit smaller than I imagined but I can't complain as the measurements were clearly advertised in the listing. They clean up really well after use as long as you follow the recommendations for use and seasoning which takes literally seconds. Very heavy and handles can get really hot so make sure you wear a glove or mitt. A good buy.

  • Most critical review

    Disappointed

Very disappointed as this product had so many good reviews but the price was definitely too good to be true. I was happy at first with the weight in them, but disappointed with the size but it’s in the description so I can’t complain. The main thing that got me was first use. They seem to rust away after each use producing an orange substance... doesn’t seem health or appear nice. All food cooked was sticking very much so, even with alot of oil and unfortunately ended up burning a lot of food due to this. I am sad to say I won’t probably use them again... until the next pan

  • Cast iron skillet set

Well made, solid skillet set at a great price. I've seen single pans cost more than this set and not as good quality. I'm going to season mine some more before use but if you don't want the hassle these come already seasoned and can be used straight out of the box. Delivery was quick and almost a week before the due date (and that's during lockdown) so really pleased on every level

  • versatile

The pans are very good for quick simple all in one meals for 1 person and the bigger one great for family size omelettes. The size looks deceptive as they are quite deep. Would have liked the handles a tiny bit longer though, but aside from that great value for money. Easy to clean as well.

  • Quality could be a lot better

They have rough surface inside pan , the ridge are starting to rust despite 2 of the pans not yet used , would recommend to season again before using

  • Definitely Recommended

I spent a quarter of a century as a chef and one thing I learnt is never trust anyone who claims to be selling pre-seasoned cast iron. That is until now. I put all three pans of ready to season and I put about a teaspoon of olive oil, the cooking variety, in each pan once the entire pans were hot and to see how much needed doing put an egg in each. Straight off with no work put in all three pans let me flip my eggs with them sticking at all. Very pleased indeed but I still baked them with minimal oil in. The only fault I can see is there is no little handle/grip opposite the normal handle. But that is no biggy as it’s just as easy for me to hold the pan itself getting it in and out of the oven. You see pans 5 times the price of these that in all probability aren’t as good.

  • Handles too short.

The handles are too short to counter balance the weight of the skillet. I have big hands and I find it a bit of a challenge maintaining the balance of these skillets with out the usual hand grip found on the opposite edge to the handle. As a skillet they cook fine but for people with small hands or weak wrists these could prove difficult and dangerous to use, particularly if taking something from the oven that has very hot liquid or fat. Nasty burns could ensue. Needs the additional handle grips to be safe. I wouldn't recommend this product on the grounds of safety.

  • Love Cast Iron

I was persuaded to return to cast iron. Apparently they are very healthy as over the years, micro traces of irion are good for you. But cooking with them, especially omelettes and the like, is a joy. Use with a wooden spatula and always wait til the oil is really hot before cooking. Clean them whilst hot (not too hot) in very hot water as soon as you can, after cooking. Avoid leaving them to soak as they will rust. Baste them with a trace of oil whilst still warm between uses, to keep them seasoned and protect them from oxydising. You'll need a good oven glove or mitten, as they do get hot!!!
