The idea is great but it does not work - one flash of the fish tails and all the food is washed over the side into the water, so no different from just putting the food straight into the water. From my point of view a waste of money

The ring seems to be too shallow. The feeding pellets are put inside the three compartments, however as soon as the fish come to it to eat, the pellets are easily pushed over the edges by the eager fish eating from below. The plastic sides are no way high enough to retain the floating fish food. The design seems to be poor,

I certainly wouldn't recommend this feeder ring for an outside pond with more than one, two max Koi in it. At 23cm it's probably better suited to an indoor aquarium where lots of small fish can feed. One medium Carp and everything gets spewed into the pond.
