Great set works great too!
I bought this for a friend for Christmas since he was using one of those old Sony phones that was a bit bulky with a short fat antenna on top.... and the sound quality was shot on it, plus he was using the old separate digital answering machine that was crap too. So I upgraded him to the new century for communications and he is quite pleased with them. I had to buy the 4 rechargeable batteries (AAA) for the set, and downloaded the instruction manual on PDF for him. The set looked almost brand new with very little wear at all. Everything works well, looks better, feels better...and oh yeah... Sounds way better! The only con I can think of, and this was his only complaint, is that when the digital answering machine kicks in you can't hear the announcement prior to the person leaving the message. It just stays silent until the person starts to leave a message. Doesn't bother me, but it ain't my phone! Great price on a good upgrade product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
