Useful for securely hanging wall cupboards.
Allows for extremely secure fixing of wall mounted cupboards. I used sleeve anchors as I have dry lined walls. Using the rail allows the load to be spread over several fixings and makes levelling the cupboard easy. The only downside I found was that the turned out bottom edge of the rail interfered with the hanging brackets on the cupboards so I had to cut sections off where the brackets contacted the rail.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fine for weights up to about 30Kgs, any heavier I would have concerns.
When it arrived I thought it was of too thin a material and would bend under a heavy weight. The smaller brackets supplied by my bathroom cabinet supplier were twice as thick. I screwed the rail to my garage wall and tested it with up to 30Kgs on one end and found it to be fine with no sign of bending. I would however be reluctant to use it if I was hanging a double wall cabinet on it which could hold a considerable weight of crockery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This product is great for spreading the load when hanging wall units rather than relying on the two corner brackets supplied. It also allows you to work round any cables or pipes in the wall. Does the job
It does the job but it is a little more thin and flexible than the 40mm brackets which came with the cabinets. Time will tell if it can truly handle a fully loaded 800mm wall unit. It is good that it has score marks so you can bend and snap to length.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

makes easier work...but not always
great idea. i thought it would make fitting the units easier and be able to get them in line easier. However as the bracket extends beyond the edge of the cupboard you have to make a cut out in the cupboard otherwise they wont sit flush. They are easily cut to the length required and well priced. However as most units come with the brackets and the required cupboard alteration needed I found it easier to use the brackets supplied.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Flimsy - bent with a single cabinet
I screwed a 600mm length of this rail to a wall to secure a bathroom sink cabinet - it bent with just the weight of the empty carcase, without even the sink on it. Metal is around 1.25mm thick - other rails seem to be around 1.75mm. Maybe it's ok if you have just a lightweight cabinet, but it is not very strong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pros: + Easy to cut down to correct length with a hacksaw + Easy to adjust on the wall so its level + Great solution to hanging cupboards, headboards etc on the wall without unsightly screws or brackets Cons: - Needs precise measurements to correctly line up the bracket on the wall with the bracket on the back of the cupboard - Holes are quite big so you'll need screws with a low profile but large round/pan head.
