Used this many times and love it BUT you have to prepare correctly. Not a quick fix but a good permanent one. Dig a spade's depth around the edge and trim the grass very short where the points are pegged in lawn. The pins are a tight fit through the holes to give stability. When the grass grows back the edge is strong and invisible. Drawbacks are stones must be removed from ground where edge will sit, uneven ground may be problematic - best suited to flat or gently sloping ground. Benefits are this is maintenance free, strong and durable, can create flowing curves or other shapes.

I bought this on the recommendation of a fried who installed t 8yrs ago and it looks as good as new. This is a great way to keep lawn edges tidy and the turnback A's should stop a gap forming between the lawn and the Smartedge. My gardener said it makes lawn cutting very much easier, he will just have to remember not to cut edges too short until it knits in.
