Packs some power.
I bought this battery for a little project I'm making for my telescope without any real idea as to my power requirements, nor did I have any idea as to the usable lifespan of this tiny lead acid battery. When the battery arrived I was surprised at the small form factor that I received, with the battery coming in at a tiny 150 x 20 x 89mm. I was immediately dubious as to how long it would work for and started looking online at bigger batteries. I then decided to do a few running time tests for my scope and I am telling you, I was blown away with the performance of this tiny power house of a battery. Lets not lose sight of the fact that it is only a battery and isn't going to fix the worlds ills, but as far as batteries go, this little bad boy powered my goto telescope for hour after hour. With minimal use of the scope, the battery lasted for 17 hours and then I had to turn it off coz it was still chucking out enough power to keep the scope running. I recharged the battery completely and tested again with more use of the scope, finding several planets and stars and tracking them so that the scope was constantly working...............and 7 hours later at 4am, I was cross eyed and throwing in the towel with the urge for sleep becoming to strong. However this little battery was still chucking out the power and ready for more use..........quality! So my plans for the purchase of a bigger battery have been shelved because, well, why do I need an alternative when I have got the "Marine" of little batteries! Great little battery
Got this to use 'on the bench' and for mobile 12v devices. Very use full little mobile source of 12v dc..Seems to hold charge forever. Have recharged it once just using my car battery charger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
