Pros: Light, easy to use and quite loud for such a small unit. From a parental point of view don't know if that will be an issue as there is a headphones socket. Cons: Control knobs are really not designed for sticky fingers; young beginners are not renowned for their clean hands. So far I have removed jam, peanut butter and something indescribable from said knobs. So a little more "grip" might help some. Overall a good investment, nice overdrive to give crunch and clean sound is OK. Tone cannot be compared to a decent amp with a bigger speaker, but for beginner use it will keep them away from my good gear.

This amp is a nice little practice unit but I have found it very under powered for 15W up against my 10W amp. However this said it is fine for messing around in the bedroom and to practice with but I would recommend a larger amp with more power..

Son first amplifier and guitar, and he loves it! Not too big for a starter one.

Looks and sounds good, for a small unit it does it job well.

I was not impressed at all. I looked stupid in front of my practice group cause of the cracking sound that it produced. Tried tuning. I would have not put a star.
