Absolutely beautiful
This set of small Riichi tiles is my favorite of the five mahjong sets I currently own. They are highly portable, given their size and the surprising sturdiness of the case they come with. Although the tiles are small and require a higher table than usual card tables (a standard dining table works well), they are not only gorgeous but also surprisingly sturdy and seem to resist scratching better than my other four sets. For that alone, I highly recommend them. Being dark and restrained in appearance, they are however not as easy to read as white tiles with more vibrantly colored suits, honors and bonus tiles. Nevertheless, they are a handsome addition to any mahjong collection and make for a great travel set.
