good saw and worth buying, could be improved
I love this saw, its hard work but cuts very fast and at ground level, i have some very hard to reach trees that need topping and this did well to hack the higher branches off safely. the saw cuts well and for me didnt snag to much. The rope was easily made longer by tieing extra rope to it and i was able to reach 4 meter high branches! The only issue i had with it is the weight and material of the rope, weight is not heavy enough to lower the rope and easily gets snagged on the branch causing you to flail around like a mad man. i overcome this with HD bank line and large fishing weight which i loop over the branch first then pull the rope and saw up afterwards. When i put it away i just rubbed the blade with a wire brush then rubbed a small amount of vasaline over it with a rag to keep the blade lubricated. If i had to redesign it i would add a seperate lightweight string and weight to aim over the branch to be cut that then attached to the heavy rope and saw. this would make the "getting the saw up there" so much easyer.

Give it a good pull!
OK, only used once since new. Progress was slower than expected - given the very sharp teeth of the blade. Maybe that was user inexperience though. Lots of roots in my garden, so no doubt the experience will be gained.

Feet on the ground pruning
This saw worked well to take down some 20' + high branches , when used with a couple of ropes for controlled decent . I was really pleased how well it worked . No need to climb the tree you Keep your feet on the ground , you can lengthen the cutting ropes to get even higher branches and to stand at an increased angle to avoid the falling branch you have cut . Just wish I got one ages ago feet

it is difficult to use I have a long pole to get it over the branch I want to cut once in position it quickly cuts the branch only a cowboy could throw it over a branch as the instructions state
