Good Quality Tools
This set of taps and dies is manufactured to a very high quality but at a very attractive price, so much so that I was very impressed with the quality and accuracy of the manufacture of all items in the set. I have used some of the taps and the dies and was very satisfied with the results, good accurate and crisp threads, either on newly made mating parts or made to fit original existing parts. The dies work well as thread chasers just being run round without fitting in the die holder. Overall very impressed and would recommend both product and supplier without hesitation.

Heavy but strong and durable tools

Needs fettling
Good vfm but could do with better selection of handles for the taps and dies. Some of the threads on the cutting surfaces have burrs which needed filing off before I could use the set. Apart from that a good product; a comprehensive set for the price.

The larger sizes are almost useless I had to reduce the size of the shaft beneath the specified size before I could cut a thread on mild steel and the thread was rough and not well formed. If I had not thrown the packaging away I would have retuned the set.
