I have been using this ointment on an abcess that wouldn't heal up, on my 17yr old cat. It was pretty much an awful gaping, weeping wound. I've used it constantly for over 2weeks now, and gradually, the puss has been drawn out of it and tissue is starting to knit together. So hopefully, given a bit more time, it will heal up completely.
