Use old Vintage lenses on Modern Mirrorless Cameras,(Only Manuel Focus Capable)
This adaptor allows a photographer to connect an old lens to a Modern Mirrorless camera.In this case Sony Nex Cameras using E-Mount System. I haven't yet taken a photo using this adaptor. My old vintage lenses use an M 42 Mount screw in system. This one works with all Sony Nex E-Mount Cameras and lenses using an M42 Screw in fit.The adaptor feels well made and good quality and screws in easily. If your old lenses use a different type of mount there are also other adaptors available by the same brand. to fit that will also connect to the Sony E - Mount System. Using this adaptor. photo's can ONLY be taken by manually focusing the lens.To do this, settings in the Camera Menu have to be changed.I still have to work out how to do this but there are video's on You Tube to explain the process. A must have for me
Got this to test some old M42 mount lenses with some amazing results. Do I honesty need the zeiss 55mm 1.8 at £600 now. Did a test against a Carl Zeiss 50mm 1.8 that cost £30 Against the £600 Zeiss 55mm on a Sony A7s and although the £600 lens was slightly sharper it was not £570 sharper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Too Tight
As of build quality, the adapter looked ok. It screwed on my M42 Zeiss with no problem, but when I tried to attach it to my Sony A7S it looked like it wouldn`t fit. I pushed it gently and it wasn`t turning. I increased the strenght gradually, but still nothing. I was affraid it would break my camera ring, but still I tried once more, using even more strenght. Only then it clanked and turned, even though it felt like it was scratching some camera parts in the process. Therefore, I don`t recomend this adapter, unless you are willing to go trough this same problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
